Presiding over the Plaza San Francisco in Quito’s colonial Old Town, Casa Gangotena is a beautifully restored mansion offering sweeping views of the city and a prime location for cultural exploration.

We love the rooftop terrace for an evening cocktail, and the walled garden is a peaceful place to sit back and relax. The interiors are inspired by the design of the original house with wooden panels, hand painted murals and traditional furnishings.
