In this hands-on experience, you’ll learn what goes into making your sweet treats look extra special. To make the most of your time with your teacher, you’ll be given your own freshly made Victoria sponge cake; made by celebrated chef Matilda. Everyone taking part will have their own, so you can learn how to decorate together. Your teacher will bring all the jams, icing, cream, edible flowers and berries that you will need to bring your Victoria sponge to life.
You’ll be taught all the steps to make your cake look natural and effortless, but to ensure there is symmetry and unified beauty with each. Learn different techniques with flowers, petals and berries, and see what can be achieved with fresh, local ingredients which will be foraged wherever possible. Whether you’re a keen baker or not, or keen to get the family baking, this is a great way to start testing your creativity to make your cakes as delicious to look at as they are to eat!
Price: £350 for a private group up to 5 people. £60 pp for any extra
This experience can take place with minimal close contact. It can be held outdoors if possible and every hygienic precaution will be taken to ensure your safety.
