Day 1-2
NEW DELHI, India
A stopover in New Delhi offers the ideal location for resting-up and unwinding before your honeymoon in Bhutan and the Maldives.
Begin your honeymoon with a quick stay in India, where you’ll spend one night at Andaz Delhi in New Delhi. A stone’s throw from the Indira Gandhi International Airport, this elegant hotel is the perfect place to rest your head post-flight. Before setting off for Bhutan, why not visit the nearby shops and markets of Chadni Chowk in Old Delhi or explore local handicraft museums and art galleries. Whilst at the hotel, take a dip in the pool or indulge in a spa treatment.
Day 2-5
PUNAKHA, Bhutan
Fall in love with the city once capital of Bhutan, plentiful in monasteries, farmhouses and rice fields, with picturesque views over the river.
As you fly into Bhutan, catch a glimpse of the beautiful landscape dotted with farmhouses and the monasteries you’re about to explore. Travel to Punakha where you’ll spend three nights at Six Senses Punakha, an elegant hideaway with a market garden and rice fields. Begin your spiritual adventure with a class in the meditation huts before a visit to Punakha Dzong, the heart of the monastic body. Visit the idyllic farm houses, flower gardens and sweet peas of the Talo villages, and sip on a riverside cocktail while soaking up the natural surroundings.
Day 5-8
GANGTEY, Bhutan
Often described as the most beautiful location in the Himalayas, here you can learn about local culture through rituals, hikes and traditional lessons.
Continue to Gangtey, one of the most secluded spots in Bhutan, where you’ll spend three nights at Gangtey Lodge. Located in a glacial valley and bordering the Black Mountains, this is considered the most beautiful spot in the Himalayas. For a taste of adventure, hike from Longtey Village to Gangtey and pass prayer flags hanging from rhododendrons and dwarf bamboos. Get a feel for local culture by learning about the rare black-necked crane birds, lighting butter lamps with a monk at Goenpa monastery or simply indulging in a traditional Hot Stone Bath.
Day 8-9
THIMPHU, Bhutan
Wander and spot endless shrines to Buddha whilst visiting Bhutan’s scenic capital city.
From Gangtey, enjoy a scenic drive to Bhutan’s capital city, where on a clear day you’ll have beautiful views of the surrounding Himalayas. Once here, Six Senses Thimpu will be your home for the night, set within apple orchards and perched on a hillside overlooking the glimmering city. Once you’ve settled, visit the most stately and impressive building in the whole of Bhutan, Tashichho Dzong, as well as the 108 spectacular chortens built on a hill. From the comfort of your own bed, wake up to spectacular views over Thimphu Valley and the golden Buddha.
Day 9-11
PARO, Bhutan
Located in Western Bhutan, Paro is ideal for exploring the surroundings on foot as well as offering an immersive spiritual and wellness retreat.
Continue to Paro for a two night stay at Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary. Here, the main focus is mind, body and spirit. Set in the picturesque Neyphug Valley, prepare to be mesmerised by the rural landscape scattered with farms, dzongs, mountain trails and monasteries. A hiker’s paradise, walking trails lead up to significant locations such as The Tiger’s Nest, Taktsang Monastery, Zuri Dzong watchtower and a local teahouse. For a truly local experience, the Sanctuary can arrange for you to eat a meal in a local family’s house with ingredients fresh from their garden.
Day 11-12
GURGAON, India
Enjoy a pleasant night’s stay in New Delhi, India’s capital city, before flying to the paradise islands of the Maldives.

Day 12-19
LAAMU ATOLL, Maldives

Fly into Malé and take both a seaplane and speed boat to the exclusive Six Senses Laamu. Once here, you’ll spend seven nights on this remote island surrounded by the warm azure waters of the Indian Ocean. Experience barefoot luxury while dining on secluded sandbanks, rising to a mesmerising sunrise breakfast before feasting on a lantern-lined lobster barbeque under the stars. Similarly, the staff can arrange other wonderful experiences such as dining in a spun-glass wine cellar, sailing on a traditional dhow at sunset and taking in the moon and constellations with stargazing on the beach.
