Why we love it
Speed through the floodplains of the Mary River, before coming to a gentle float whilst on the lookout for huge saltwater crocodiles.
Enjoy canapés at sunset after a day out exploring the Sampan Creeks from the shade of your boat. Sip your G+T in the company of crocodiles and aquatic birdlife.
Use your binoculars to spot some of the 236 species of waterbird that populate the Mary River, with a large variety congregating even in the dry season.
Hide away to view undisturbed wildlife from Bamurru's 360º treetop hide, with flaps for camera and binoculars, and a fitted fieldscope.
Explore the landscape that cannot be accessed by a traditional vehicle, as you criss-cross between a range of terrains, termite mounds, and wild horses.
Slow down and soak up the sights and sounds of the bush as you take in the small beauties, tailored to your own personal interests.
Enjoy a scenic flight to Kakadu to explore Aboriginal culture with a local guide, visiting rock art galleries, caves, and other treasures.
Jade & Andy
Our daughter is at university in Melbourne for a year so we wanted to visit her. We haven’t really thought about visiting Australia before but we’re so glad we had a reason to travel all that way. Three weeks seems like such a long time away, but we packed it full of so many amazing experiences that it went by before we knew it. Now we’re hooked and planning our next trip as want to visit the Outback with her while she’s still Down Under!
