This experience takes you through some of Chiang Mai’s spiritual sites in a calm and meaningful way. Walk along the Monk’s Trail, an old path that monks used to climb Doi Suthep mountain before the road was built, and witness some interesting stone structures with carvings that hint at the area’s history. The trail leads to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, one of the most respected temples in Chiang Mai, where you’ll take the 308 steps up a staircase lined with Naga serpent statues, adding to the quiet atmosphere. At the top, you can listen to monks chanting and see pilgrims who’ve come from around Thailand – It’s a chance to connect with the peaceful traditions and history of the region.
