Maniumpathy

The name ”Maniumpathy” is a tribute to the town of Manipay, which is the origins of the first owners in the Jaffna family. Maniumpathy is a stunning stately home with a history spanning over a century. It has been renovated and transformed into a boutique hotel with the intention of immersing its guests in an atmosphere reminiscent of the pursuits of the house’s previous inhabitants. The colonial structure that existed has been built up over many generations and it gives the hotel a completely unique character. A rather intriguing and personal touch is that each of the rooms is named after a woman from a different generation of the Jaffna family.
