Day 4 - 6: Mendoza

  • Private access to some of the best vineyards in Argentina
  • Relax in style and comfort at this exclusive resort and spa
  • Mendoza is famed for its vine-filled valleys spread beneath the snowy peaks of the Andes Mountains.

This morning you will fly from Buenos Aires to Mendoza, where a representative of The Vines hotel will be waiting to take you to the lodge in the Valle de Uco. Here we will include two half days with our private wine guide and driver to take you to some of the best boutique vineyards in Mendoza. You will enjoy fantastic wine-tasting and table reservations for lunch at some of the best restaurants in the area.

The Vines has a fantastic spa and restaurant. We always recommend leaving plenty of time to relax and enjoy the hotel and its luxury facilities. Each day will be personalised to suit your preferences. Beyond its wine production, Mendoza is also a beautiful region for mountain walks, biking, horseback riding and trekking.

Day 7 - 9: Cordoba

Tucked into the Sierras of Cordoba, days at El Colibri can be spent horseback riding, playing polo, swimming in the pool and exploring the family cattle ranch. The restaurant is excellent and known for its fresh produce and innovative menu.

Flight schedules permitting, you will fly directly from Mendoza to Cordoba today, where the team at El Colibri will drive you to this private polo estancia in the Sierra hills. El Colibri was founded by Raoul Fenestraz, who created the El Colibri Polo Club team. The team competes in numerous national tournaments on horses bred and trained on the estate. The two large fields are equipped with an irrigation system for optimum lawn quality all year round and excellent players living on the estate for top-class polo tuition during your stay.

La Bamba is one of the oldest estancias in Argentina and home to the international polo team that bears its name. During the polo season (September to December), you can watch matches in action and play with the team when they are not in tournaments. This dreamy luxury estancia is the perfect place to pause and reflect on your Argentine adventure before returning home.

Whether you are a great cook or just passionate about good food, we highly recommend spending lunch with the esteemed local chef, Paula. Her home-style cooking lessons at her own kitchen in San Antonio de Areco are always fun and welcoming as guests help to prepare traditional Argentine recipes.
