OKAVANGO DELTA, Botswana

Nxabega
  • Nxabega Tented Camp is one of our favourite lodges in the heart of the Okavango Delta‘s waterways
  • This lodge is a fantastic choice where you’ll experience wildlife safaris by boat, foot and vehicle

A trip to the Okavango Delta guarantees both land and water safaris all year round, making for a truly memorable experience in Botswana.

Fly to Botswana to begin your safari in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Here, you’ll spend three nights at Nxabega Tented Camp, overlooking the expansive lagoons and channels of the Delta. Each day, rise to many opportunities for wildlife spotting, whether by boat safaris, guided walking safaris, or day and night game drives. In the afternoons, soak up the sun whilst on your raised deck or by the pool. In the evening, watch the sunset while sipping sundowners on a river island before crossing over the bridge for the ultimate stargazing experience.

Day 7-10

ZAMBEZI RIVER, Zambia

  • The perfect way to end such a special holiday on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, under the care of Tongabezi’s wonderful team
  • We love spending hours watching the comings and goings of the river, as well as visiting the spectacular Victoria Falls, southern Africa’s capital of adventure

Located on the Zambezi River, this national park includes the natural wonder of Victoria Falls and the wonderful Tongabezi Lodge perched on the riverbanks.

Fly into Livingstone and spend three nights at Tongabezi Lodge, a beautifully designed lodge on the banks of the Zambezi in Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park. Positioned eleven miles upstream from Victoria Falls, we can arrange for you to explore the falls by helicopter, white water rafting or bungee jumping. Whilst at Tongabezi, set your own pace and itinerary, choosing between early morning game drives, and canoeing and sunset cruises on the Zambezi. In the evening, enjoy fine dining under the stars on board a sampan or pontoon boat, where food will be delivered to you by canoe.

Missy & Harry

Absolutely amazing holiday. Garonga is heaven! We did everything possible and our guide was brilliant and hilarious. I can definitely recommend True Travel for their excellent advice and professionalism – they clearly are very knowledgeable about where they send their clients and made sure we had a worry-free holiday that perfectly suited us. We were particular grateful for the collection off our flight and help onto our transfer in Johannesburg, which included a very nifty queue jump due to their reputation!
