The original Bailes family home built by Luke Bailes grandfather James Fawcett Bailes, has been converted into the Singita Castleton exclusive use Lodge. Set within 45,000 acres of private reserve, Singita Castleton consists of a main house with communal living spaces, and accommodation located in six individual cottages within the grounds, catering for up to 12 people. Singita Castleton retains the charm and ambience of an old family country farmhouse with the exclusivity of a private luxury safari lodge, with the added benefit of extensive high-end facilities, including a vast garden, swimming pool, wine cellar, gym, tennis court and spa treatment room. Guests can relax together on the beautiful deep verandah, gather around the traditional ‘boma’, both of which overlook the watering hole where animals frequently gather to drink, yet the individual cottages allow guests to retreat to the privacy of their own space.
Tucked away under the shade of towering riverine trees, Selati Camp is a paradise for safari enthusiasts. Game drives within the Sabi Sabi Reserve, known for its incredible biodiversity, promise thrilling encounters with over 200 mammal species and 300 bird species, including the iconic Big 5.
