Situated a mere 8 km from the Von Lindequist Gate on the eastern boundary of Etosha National Park, Mushara Lodge offers an excellent overnight stay option for visitors to the renowned game reserve. The lodge comprises ten spacious chalets, a family unit, a triple room, and two single rooms, providing comfortable and ample accommodation. The name “Mushara” is inspired by the abundance of the purple pod Terminalia tree, which graces the lodge grounds and the surrounding area.

The thatched public area features a cozy library with an array of engaging books, a well-stocked bar boasting an extensive wine cellar, a bright and inviting lounge complete with a fireplace for winter evenings, a dining area, and a curio shop filled with a delightful selection of souvenirs. The lodge’s interior design showcases meticulous attention to detail, with an eclectic fusion of traditional African elements and contemporary art pieces, interspersed with vintage paintings that add character to the ambiance. The Pitchers

We had the most amazing time! John Barclay and his team were very special and the mobile safari exclusive and superb. Moremi was very quiet with few other tourists – no more than a dozen other vehicles seen in four days. Macatoo was also excellent with good riding and game. We were so grateful for the help that you offered when our BA flights went wrong. Many thanks again for the superb service and recommendations which made for a great holiday.
