Tubu Tree lies on the remote Hunda Island, the largest area of permanently dry land in this region of the Okavango Delta. As its name implies, it lies in the dappled shade of large trees. It has a raised dining and lounge area, pool and open bar areas almost within the canopy of a marula tree and looking out over a grassy floodplains.
Duba Plains Camp is situated on a remote island among a matrix of palm-dotted islands, flood plains and woodland, within the world-renowned Okavango Delta. Described by guests as “Garden Of Eden”, this camp is a true escape and a true representation of the best natural beauty that Africa has to offer.
Built on a permanent waterway close to the Gomoti River this refreshingly different camp combined classic tented safari with a modern twist. Large spacious tents do away with the traditional dark wood and heavy furniture that you find in many camps and instead uses light bright furniture.
A concealed gem on the Xudum River, Kanana is situated in the southwest of the Okavango Delta. The region incorporates a row of islands dotted with palms, figs, ebony and knob thorn, and is home to wide varieties of birds, plants and animals.
Selinda Camp is built on a shady island overlooking the waters of the Selinda Spillway, an ancient waterway which is the focal point in a vast private concession in northern Botswana. With its large, game-rich floodplains, Selinda Camp offers a unique wildlife experience.
Macatoo Camp is situated in a 500,000 acre private concession in the Delta. The Okavango is the largest inland delta in the world, a mix of labyrinth channels, palm fringed islands and fertile floodplains.
Shinde is a cozy, exemplary camp situated on the edge of Shinde Lagoon, settled on a rich palm island in the heart of the northern Okavango Delta, which just abounds with animals and birdlife.
Xugana Lagoon is widely recognised as the most spectacular permanent water site in the entire Okavango Delta, which itself is Africa’s largest and most awe-inspiring oasis. The Okavango River rises in the highlands of Angola yet never reaches the sea; instead its immense waters empty over the sands of the Kalahari, where the great thirst of the desert is quenched in a wilderness of freshwater lagoons, channels and islands.
Seba Camp, blending beautifully into the ancient riverine forest of majestic hardwood trees, is situated in the diverse and productive Abu Concession. Overlooking a perennial lagoon with prolific birdlife and visiting pods of hippo, the camp has eight well-appointed, spacious tents elevated from the ground, each with an en-suite bathroom and a private deck with magnificent vistas.
