My love for travelling started when I was very young, on my first school trip when we went to visit the beautiful town of Caltagirone in Sicily. The first time I went abroad was at the age of 16 when I went to Prague. It was winter, cold, and the city looked beautiful, I remember the very first time I saw Charles Bridge; it was at night, and it was drizzling, it was incredible! It became clear to me that travelling would have become a big part of my life! Cause of that, I decided to study tourism and business when I moved to Cambridge and from that very moment, my career has been built around helping my beloved clients organise their most memorable holidays around Europe! I believe that the most exciting part of my job is to inspire people to travel more by sharing my experiences.
I chose to pursue a career in the travel industry because it allows me to assist people in planning their dream holidays. As someone who sees themselves as a bit of an artist, creating a bespoke holiday for a client feels like creating a new painting. Working in the travel industry also provides me with the opportunity to travel and see the world.
As a lover of nature, culture, and food, my ideal holiday is a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. One of my favourite experiences is hiking Mount Etna, as I am fascinated by the power and beauty of volcanoes. I enjoy traveling with my partner to share these experiences, but I also relish solo trips to fully immerse myself in new surroundings. Whether I am relaxing on a beach or exploring a new city, I am always seeking out new experiences and creating lasting memories.
Do your research to check anything that needs to be booked in advance, and check your data roaming plan! Bring your travel adaptor and power bank, and download your music and movies! As a digital artist, I take my iPad everywhere; it allows me to create my art in each destination I visit.
I am an animal lover, and meeting Asian elephants is one of my favourite travel memories. Another of my best travel memories is driving around the volcano in Lanzarote at night. The sky was so clear that it felt like I could have touched the stars.
