What is the TRUE Identification System?

TRUE (Travel Retailer Universal Enumeration) System's sole purpose is to help provide travel agents with the assignment of travel industry numeric codes that are recognized by the travel supplier community, including cruise lines, tour operators, hoteliers, and car rental companies.

The recognition of this universal numeric code by travel suppliers will allow the travel agent or travel agency the privilege of booking travel products and services directly with travel industry suppliers and be compensated a commission directly by the supplier. This numeric identification code eliminates the need to establish multiple pseudo ID numbers with individual suppliers.

The TRUE System was established in 2001 and has been supported by all major trade associations and suppliers. TRUE is the only coding system that is maintained by travel agents for travel agents.
